“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
― H. Jackson Brown J., P.S. I Love You
Can we just take a moment to enjoy the simplicity of elopements? Every time I capture an elopement it is such a breath of fresh air. This elopement in the Arkansas Quachita Mountains was no exception. Set in mid April, we had the perfect weather for an adventure elopement. Sunny with a few clouds watching over us, and a slight breeze just nice enough to breath life into the moment. The three of us trekked to one of many intimate, yet easy to access locations along the Quachita Mountains. They stood there overlooking the valley, saying their “I-Do’s” and the moment was filled with so much joy and laughter. They took a moment to soak it all in and stay just a little bit longer before heading to spend their intimate evening in their cabin together. I cannot wait to see where their love takes them, and I hope they come back to this spot for many years to remember just the way this day felt.
